A Voice Over Artist May Have A Perfect Voice

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

A voice over artist may have a perfect voice, (think Bill Curtis or Orson Wells) but they did not get to that point without help from a teacher! An actor must take voice-coaching classes or acting classes. Acting classes are better than nothing, but if the talent can, getting a voice over professional to coach is the best thing possible.

It’s best to receive your training from a person who knows your individual vocal-range, as well as the various microphone techniques, and industry jargon because it helps the talent and brings them one step closer to perfecting their career. Also, when obtaining voice coaching classes, the talent also must pay attention to the teacher and be willing to make adjustments as necessary (this goes for any performance artist - but especially for a voice over artist).

Social Security Records Good for Family Research

Have you ever considered researching your family tree? Many people have, myself included, but perhaps the most difficult aspect of researching your family tree is knowing where to get started, or where to turn when you run into a dead end. One of the most widely used but least known resources to use for genealogy research is the social security death index. The amount of data contained withing their database is amazing and most people are able to find exactly what they are looking for. If you are doing genealogy research you have to take a look at the social security death index records, as it may be just what you are looking for.
