Frame drums- The versatile musical instrument
Frame drums are hand drums made with animal skin and wood .Frame drums are found in all cultures of music in all parts of the world. They have been in use for centuries. The making of frame drums differs from culture to culture depending on the geographic locations. Frame drums come in different sizes and generally larger ones are played by men and the smaller ones are played by women. I personally find frame drums very simple and easy to carry musical instrument which can be played anywhere. And their music is very appealing to listen. I think they are older than any musical instruments in the world.
